All Afghanistan National Taekwon-Do Association ITF National Championships 8th senior and 4th Junior & children concluded Successfully
On the 19th December 2008 the All Afghanistan National Taekwon-Do Association ITF successfully hosted the 8th senior and 4th junior and children national championships which was held at Hafaq sports center there were more then 400 participants, officially from kabul herat, Mazar e Sharif, Paktia for the 8th senior and 4th junior Championships. for the champions and officials distributed medals, cups Awards and certificates either by founder and president A.A.N.T.A Mr. Hed Mohammad Shirzai and further, Organizing committee to closing of ceremony a banquet was at the kabul khaiber hotel where the 16th Anniversary All Afghanistan National ITF TKD was celebrated by cutting the cake all players from kabul and other provinces have participated for 24 gold medals and 24 silver and 31 bronze. Afghanistan Academy of ITF Taekwon-do players with 8 gold medals 1st position, Afghan youth taekwon-do 2nd position, Asia ITF Team with Mazar team 3rd Position the best fighters Mr. Waheed in Senior Mr. Noor Mohammad Shirzai in Junior and Mr. Murad Ali in children Segments were declard of the championships.

On december 18 2008 Eng. Mohammad Maruf Sharifzada Chairman Umpire Committe A.A.N.T.A taught the technical Seminar and umpire course attended by 177 ITF players and instructors from kabul and Provinces

The 8th Junior and 3rd vetran world TKD championships
 The championships was held in tashkent, Uzbekistan from september 16th - 21th 2008 competitors and officials from over 55 countries of the world successfully participated at the championships, at the championships the competitors of our beloved country Afghanistan showed their skills and strong preseverance covering all aspexts of Taekwon-do competition sparring, patterns, power, special technique and self defence routine.
ITF Technical & Umpire course Tashkent, Uzbekistan 16-09-2008
 This seminar was the first of its kind to be held prior to a world championships. Grand Master, Leong Wai Meng, chairman of ITF Umpire committee vice president ITF took charge of the technical training of over 40 Umpires from every continents of the globe. Patterns were covered in detail as Umpires prepared to judge the highest standards of patterns to be performed anywhere in the world. AANTA was well represented by Mr. Mohammad Marouf Sharifzada, Abdul Latif Yari and Noor Mohd Shirzai.
